Last fall, the Board of Trustees asked the community for volunteers to sit on the Bylaws Committee. Three of those volunteers were chosen at random to collaborate with four Trustees to revise our community’s governing documents. After more than fifty years since their original composition, it was time to bring our Bylaws into the twenty-first century. Once the Committee completed this arduous task and came to a version they all agreed upon, the document was reviewed by the Trustees and sent to our lawyer for review. With tremendous gratitude to the Bylaws Committee, the Board of Trustees presents the proposed amended Bylaws to residents for review and approval. Please join us at the semi-annual members’ meeting on Monday September 11 at 7pm at Forest Ridge Baptist Church and vote to ratify the new Bylaws. We need your participation with an in person vote to make this document active: 112 households must vote in order to reach the required quorum and 66% most vote Yes to approve the amended document. If you have any questions regarding the following document, please contact Bylaws Committee Chair Shelton Monger at firstname.lastname@example.org.
